1/27/13. Snow!

We finally got a chance to play in the snow. Allison helped shovel and then we played!

1/1/13. Random thoughts

Allison has a fetish with touching the bag in the vacuum cleaner. She unzips the outer bag to touch the inside bag. She asks to touch the bag a few times when it's out.

Allison has the same sense of humor as daddy. She will crack up the second daddy starts to laugh even when she has no idea why she is laughing. She loves to repeat everything daddy does.

Allison got her first flu bug ever just before the year ended. She was a great sport and handled being sick very well.

12/25/12 Christmas

Allison asked for the following for Christmas:

Easy bake oven
Dress up clothes
Olive Garden chocolates
Kazoo
Blue wallet
Squinkies

Santa brought all the above but her wallet was not blue.

She asked one night if Santa could see her in the video monitor. Well of course he can as he is watching you everywhere you are. While at grandmas she asked where her cameras where. Then while we were at Aunt Julie's she asked where they were at her house.

Allison found an empty box and clothes hangers more exciting then the gifts themselves. Note to Santa, Allison is a simple child and doesn't need many toys. :)

11/21/12 Thanksgiving

Allison said she was thankful for the following:

Mommy and daddy making her lunch and dinner
Mommy and daddy opening her snacks
Her pretend cookies

Love her!

11/17/12 Chicago

We went to Chicago to see the Festival of Lights. It was so crowed but Allison did see Minnie and Mickey.

She also got a light up wand.

10/27/12 Allison is clever

So Allison had broke her baton a few weeks go. When visiting Marissa in the hospital Uncle Mike took Allison for a walk/drink. She came back and had brand new baton. I asked where she got it and she said Uncle Mike. Well Uncle Mike said she was "working it.". She told him in the gift shop: Uncle Mike my baton broke and I need a new one. She also said her flute broke and she needed a new one. Well she got the baton and a bag of candy. Gotta love the innocence of children.

10/27/12 Our new cousin

So Allison asked today how Marissa came out of Danielle's belly. She is only 3.5 and is already asking. I was not prepared for that question. So any mom would have answered just like I did and said "very carefully". Lol yeah I am quick on my feet! :)
