12/25/12 Christmas

Allison asked for the following for Christmas:

Easy bake oven
Dress up clothes
Olive Garden chocolates
Kazoo
Blue wallet
Squinkies

Santa brought all the above but her wallet was not blue.

She asked one night if Santa could see her in the video monitor. Well of course he can as he is watching you everywhere you are. While at grandmas she asked where her cameras where. Then while we were at Aunt Julie's she asked where they were at her house.

Allison found an empty box and clothes hangers more exciting then the gifts themselves. Note to Santa, Allison is a simple child and doesn't need many toys. :)

11/21/12 Thanksgiving

Allison said she was thankful for the following:

Mommy and daddy making her lunch and dinner
Mommy and daddy opening her snacks
Her pretend cookies

Love her!

11/17/12 Chicago

We went to Chicago to see the Festival of Lights. It was so crowed but Allison did see Minnie and Mickey.

She also got a light up wand.

10/27/12 Allison is clever

So Allison had broke her baton a few weeks go. When visiting Marissa in the hospital Uncle Mike took Allison for a walk/drink. She came back and had brand new baton. I asked where she got it and she said Uncle Mike. Well Uncle Mike said she was "working it.". She told him in the gift shop: Uncle Mike my baton broke and I need a new one. She also said her flute broke and she needed a new one. Well she got the baton and a bag of candy. Gotta love the innocence of children.

10/27/12 Our new cousin

So Allison asked today how Marissa came out of Danielle's belly. She is only 3.5 and is already asking. I was not prepared for that question. So any mom would have answered just like I did and said "very carefully". Lol yeah I am quick on my feet! :)

10/5/12 Daddy's birthday

Ally made her own birthday card for daddy and helped bake a cake too.

9/4/12 Navy Pier

Allison's first trip to Navy Pier. It was a beautiful sunny day. We rode the ferris wheel and saw a beautiful Chicago skyline. Allison also rode the carousel. She loves carousels! Allison got her very own Chicago Cubs baseball hat. We saw sailboats and a lighthouse. She also sat on every step to have her picture taken. It was a great family day.

8/8/12 I don't want her to grow anymore!

So this evening I was telling Allison that I don't want her to grow anymore. I want her to stay just as she is. She tells me that she needs to still grow so that she can eat more foods. I asked her what kind of food will she eat when she grows more. She tells me .........broccoli, your chicken, tater tots.

She has told us that before and it hasn't changed. I am hoping one day soon she will eat the above foods!

8/8/12 Daddy's protector

Today when I picked up Allison from school, I was told by her teacher that Allison had an issue when she couldn't take her Ariel water doll outside. School rule is that the childrem are not allowed to bring any toys. Unfortunatley, Daddy wasn't aware of this rule and let Allison bring Ariel. So when one of her teachers made a comment that Daddy is in trouble for allowing her to bring the doll. Allison response: I won't let him get in trouble! So I asked her how she would make sure he doesn't get in trouble. She tells me she will laugh, and make funny faces at him! LOL That is what she does when she gets in trouble she will make funny faces or laugh so you forget why you are mad at her!

8/4/12 Dunes!

Our first trip to the Indian dunes. This was Allison's first time at a beach too. She had so much fun playing in the sand. She even braved the water and would stand and let the waves come over her feet. Hope to go back soon.

8/3/12 Ice cream

So I am taking Allison to dairy queen. I ask her what kind of ice cream does she want. She replies with.... You know what my favorite kind is ....Chocolate! Of course in her sassy voice!

7/27/12 Date Night

Allison and mommy had a date night. Picnic and a movie in the park. They play music before the movie. Allison loves this part so she can get up and dance. We saw a movie we had never seen before.. Mr. Poppers penguins. Half way through the movie she asked me to put music on so she can dance. We had a great night together.

7/31/12 Daddy Daughter Day

Daddy took Allison to build a bear for the first time. She got a rainbow bear and named it Sassy. Hmm sounds appropriate. They also went on a carousel ride too. A great day with daddy!

7/27/12 Sneaking Chocolate

Allison has a tiny Dora purse that she keeps Hershey kisses in. She always ask for permission to have a piece. She asked for a piece before bed last night. I told her no since she already brushed her teeth. When Allison woke daddy up he asked if she had blood on her face. She said no I sneaked some chocolate. Oh my girl after my own heart!

7/21/12 Toy Story 3

Sitting here watching toy story 3 Allison's favorite movie on a Saturday morning. She tells me "wait here comes my favorite part!" Then Mr. Potato head slips in pee. She laughs her butt off and says "see I told you that is the funniest part". Love hearing her repeat stuff from the movie.

7/9/12 Family Day

We spent a day with just our trio! We went to downtown Oswego and took pictures, then lunch at Rockbottom and paddle boats in Naperville.

7/8/12 Minnie Mouse Pancakes

Allison requested Minnie Mouse Mouse pancakes from Uncle Phil. She loved them. Now she wants Uncle Phil to make Goofy or Donald pancakes on her next visit. I wonder if he knows how?

Allison got her first pedicure for a wedding. She loves it! Can't wait to take her back again.
