9/4/12 Navy Pier

Allison's first trip to Navy Pier. It was a beautiful sunny day. We rode the ferris wheel and saw a beautiful Chicago skyline. Allison also rode the carousel. She loves carousels! Allison got her very own Chicago Cubs baseball hat. We saw sailboats and a lighthouse. She also sat on every step to have her picture taken. It was a great family day.

8/8/12 I don't want her to grow anymore!

So this evening I was telling Allison that I don't want her to grow anymore. I want her to stay just as she is. She tells me that she needs to still grow so that she can eat more foods. I asked her what kind of food will she eat when she grows more. She tells me .........broccoli, your chicken, tater tots.

She has told us that before and it hasn't changed. I am hoping one day soon she will eat the above foods!

8/8/12 Daddy's protector

Today when I picked up Allison from school, I was told by her teacher that Allison had an issue when she couldn't take her Ariel water doll outside. School rule is that the childrem are not allowed to bring any toys. Unfortunatley, Daddy wasn't aware of this rule and let Allison bring Ariel. So when one of her teachers made a comment that Daddy is in trouble for allowing her to bring the doll. Allison response: I won't let him get in trouble! So I asked her how she would make sure he doesn't get in trouble. She tells me she will laugh, and make funny faces at him! LOL That is what she does when she gets in trouble she will make funny faces or laugh so you forget why you are mad at her!

8/4/12 Dunes!

Our first trip to the Indian dunes. This was Allison's first time at a beach too. She had so much fun playing in the sand. She even braved the water and would stand and let the waves come over her feet. Hope to go back soon.

8/3/12 Ice cream

So I am taking Allison to dairy queen. I ask her what kind of ice cream does she want. She replies with.... You know what my favorite kind is ....Chocolate! Of course in her sassy voice!

7/27/12 Date Night

Allison and mommy had a date night. Picnic and a movie in the park. They play music before the movie. Allison loves this part so she can get up and dance. We saw a movie we had never seen before.. Mr. Poppers penguins. Half way through the movie she asked me to put music on so she can dance. We had a great night together.

7/31/12 Daddy Daughter Day

Daddy took Allison to build a bear for the first time. She got a rainbow bear and named it Sassy. Hmm sounds appropriate. They also went on a carousel ride too. A great day with daddy!
